Specialised training days can be designed for the needs of consultants and MDT teams. This has been done successfully for acute aortic injury, as well as primary angioplasty. The team adopt their clinical roles, and are then assigned cases. Cases are modified in real-time by our team to provide multiple levels of complexity in case-handling. Sessions are followed by in depth feedback.
We are also developing procedure-based packages to train physicians in the use of novel devices in structural heart disease, such as TAVI laves, Left Atrial Appendage and PFO closure.
