Beginning with acute stroke intervention, iCAST hopes to provide the trainee with a whole pathway experience. “Time is Brain”, and with the host of trials recently suggesting that acute stroke intervention has benefits over thrombolysis, the iCAST model will allow team training to ensure minimal delays from arrival, to assessment, to clot extraction.
